Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO)
Students will get knowledge and technical skills in plant genomics. Specifically, they will:
- gain skills to plan and perform RNA-seq experiments to identify key stress genes (RNA extraction and quality assessment, NGS library preparation)
- become capable of performing large-scale analysis of genomics data (identification of differentially expressed genes from RNA-seq, gene group enrichment, and gene ontology analyses)
- gain general knowledge about the use of genomic data in plant breeding
