Prof. Magdalena Król appointed to the KPN
Prof. dr hab. Magdalena Król was appointed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education to the new Scientific Policy Committee (KPN).
The Committee consists of 12 people representing various fields of science. Members of KPN are representatives of the best Polish research and academic centers. Their term of office is two years. The new term of office of KPN will start on June 1, 2020 and will end on May 31, 2022.
KPN is an auxiliary body of the Minister of Science and Higher Education in the field of state science policy. It evaluates the implementation of the state’s scientific policy and gives opinions on documents presented by the minister.
Prof. dr hab. Magdalena Król is a researcher at the Institute of Biology of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and head of the Independent Cancer Biology Laboratory of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. In 2019, she became the youngest professor of veterinary sciences in the history of this discipline in Poland.
